Job Readiness and Structured Job Search Program (JR & SJS)
The Job Readiness and Structured Job Search (JR & SJS) program is an open entry/open exit course. The course is designed to serve TANF recipients.
The Job Readiness component is comprised of training in KeyTrain, Microsoft, Microtype Pro, OKCIS, goal setting, employability skills, conflict resolution, individual assessments and successful work habits.
The Structured Job Search component includes training in employment applications, cover letters, resume’ writing, time management, dress for success and mock interviews.
Clients must have a referral from their OKDHS caseworker that identifies in which of the two components the client will be participating. The clients participate for a minimum of five-days and a maximum of four-weeks.
