MMPI-2

This personality inventory is required by CLEET prior to admission to Phase IV-Firearms training for security guards. Results must be submitted to CLEET and the school coordinator after evaluation by an Oklahoma licensed psychologist. This testing is only open to security guard personnel, not law enforcement candidates. This is due to a CLEET requirement for law enforcement personnel to have a private session with the testing psychologist. TUITION: $59.00

Phase I & II-Unarmed Security

Phase I-Includes interpreting security guard law, first-aid, fire extinguishers, writing field notes and reports, plus interpreting legal powers. Phase II-Includes public relations, fixed post duties, patrolling and investigating security incidents. TUITION: $99.00

Phase III-Private Investigator

Review responsibilities to clients, private investigation laws, fair credit reporting laws, investigations and surveillance. TUITION: $99.00

Phase IV-Firearms

Choose to qualify on either a revolver or semi-automatic pistol to fulfill the CLEET armed security guard license. Students desiring qualification on both weapons must take the class twice. Must purchase 400 rounds of ammunition at H&H firing range. Use appropriate holster, belt and extra ammunition carrier during class. Firearm will be inspected. PREREQUISITE: MMPI-2 test. REQUIREMENT: Minimum caliber for semi-auto pistols are 9mm and .38sp for revolvers. Duty style holster, belt, two magazines or speed loaders. Must be 21 TUITION: $135.00

Court Room Testimony and Depositions

This course will give you an understanding of testifying in civil and criminal matters. Gain knowledge in techniques to use when responding to the prosecuting and defense attorneys. Learn how to work with attorneys and volunteering information that may help or hurt your case. TUITION: $29.00

CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens

Four hours are presented of American Red Cross Adult CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Learn how to check the scene for safety, recognize and respond to an emergency and the good Samaritan law. Also learn how check a conscious and unconscious person, breathing emergencies, conscious choking, adult CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator. Two hours of First Aid training will cover soft tissue injuries, injuries to muscles, bones and joint, sudden illness, and hot and cold related emergencies. One hour of bloodborne pathogens reviews basic OSHA requirements of the Bloodborne Pathogen Standard on what diseases can be transmitted by blood or other bodily fluids, signs and symptoms of these diseases, universal precautions, proper personal protection requirements, proper clean up of spills and disposal of contaminated waste. Homicide Investigations Series

From Crime Scene to Appeal-Part 1

Reinvestigate an actual homicide as it developed in 1984 from crime scene to autopsy to trial. Apply new investigative procedures, based on news video tape of the crime scene, police reports, newspaper accounts of lost evidence, transcripts and more. Establish a time-line, chain of evidence, review multijurisdictional policies and politics, and consider additional suspects. TUITION: $49.00

Planted Evidence-Part 2

Did the 1977 Girl Scout Murder case influence original investigators? In 1999, the 10th Circuit Court remands the homicide case for investigation of planted evidence. From oral argument to interview tapes, you will compare testimony, evaluate statements and identify, analyze and chart “hot spots.” Review additional cases under appeal and discover the most common elements for appeal. Also view videos and news clips. TUITION: $49.00

Profiles and MO's-Part 3

Test statements made at a crime scene and establish methods of operations (MO’s) from police reports of molestation, kidnapping, date-rape, spousal abuse and hostage situations, and detailed psychiatry interviews and reports. Establish a profile of the perpetrator from the autopsy report and compare to the MO. TUITION: $49.00

Forensic Science-Part 4

Understand the basics of DNA and how they apply to homicide cases. Review police lab reports, charts, hair and fiber evidence presented at trial. Test the chain of evidence from collection in 1984 to DNA testing in 2002. Study repetitive patterns of two chemists: one who commits suicide and the other who is accused of altering evidence. Review selection of evidence and final DNA test results. TUITION: $49.00

Interviewing Techniques

Gain knowledge on the difference between interviewing disinterested, busy people for information, interviewing interested parties, interviewing for civil matters and interviewing suspects and subjects in criminal matters. Several cases will be discussed and participants will practice interviewing and taking appropriate notes. TUITION: $29.00

Pre-Trial Reports/Courtroom Presentations

For private investigators, security guards and first responders. Review material from investigator's pre-trial reports, exhibits and photos from actual court cases. Learn how to prepare reports and slide presentations for court and review basic Evidentiary Foundations. TUITION: $49.00

Report Writing

Learn practical applications on how to write reports. This is a hands-on, made-simple course that gives security officers a simple, easy method to write a complete report for a company, client or for litigation use. TUITION: $29.00

Surveillance-I

Explore techniques for fixed foot and automobile surveillance. Course work includes theory and field work in the fundamentals of conducting surveillance, video-taping, tracking and documentation. TUITION: $59.00

Surveillance-II

This course covers advanced surveillance video-taping and tracking techniques. Course work includes theory and field work of personal and vehicle disguises, techniques on covertness and how not to get discovered when following a subject. Understand the fundamentals in proper video editing techniques for clients or courtroom evidence. TUITION: $59.00
