WHY
DOES METRO TECHNOLOGY CENTERS HAVE A PRIVACY POLICY?
Metro Technology
Centers (Metro Tech) respects the privacy of our students,
clients and all other visitors to our website. Metro Tech will
not share personally identifiable information about you.
This policy is provided to explain why information is collected,
how it is used, where it comes from and Metro Tech's commitment
to insure your personal privacy.
WHY IS INFORMATION COLLECTED?
Because we
are a Career and Technology Educational Institution, we are required,
by law, to gather some personal data from our students and
clients relative to enrollment, status of training, graduation,
and employment data reported to the State Department of Education,
Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, or other
state and federal agencies.
HOW IS INFORMATION USED?
Further, in
our quest to provide you, as a client or site visitor, an excellent
and accurate service response to your inquiry, we solicit information
about the reason for your visit to our internet site. The information
you share with us helps us determine how best to serve you.
We may ask for your opinion from time to time about what you like
and or don't like about our site. You may also be asked
whether you would like to receive information about new Metro
Tech products. In addition, we sometimes collect information to
find out how you found the Metro Tech site, which pages you visited,
and how long you stayed. This information does not include any
personal information about you. We use this data to improve this
site and provide you the most exciting and beneficial Internet
experience possible.
Metro Tech may collect and store information for statistical purposes.

you. We will only use personal information (such as name, mailing
address and e-mail address) contained in your email to respond
to your specific inquiry or comments in the e-mail. Though we
may retain your e-mail for a period of time, we will not use any
personal information contained in your e-mail for any purpose
other than responding to your specific inquiry or comments.
We have data storage technology and procedures in place to ensure
that any retained information is secure.
Promotions - To participate in some of our promotions,
you may be asked to provide an e-mail address or screen name,
so that we can let you know if you won a prize. Do not use your
real name for these promotions. For other Metro Tech promotions,
we may request your name and home address in order to send you
products or information by regular mail. Remember, children under
13 years of age need their parents or guardians permission before
providing this information.
Cookies - Cookies are messages sent to users from the
internet sites that they visit. Metro Tech may use "cookies"
to enhance your experience at our Web site. We can not tell
who you are or where you are. The cookie only tells us that you
