Detention Officer
The Detention Officer career major prepares students for careers in correctional institutions. Students learn security procedures, prisoner transport and supervision of prisoners in penal or rehabilitative institutions in accordance with established regulations and procedures. Students will study Oklahoma Jail Standards along with emergency telecommunications, defensive tactics and equipment and weapons.
