Restaurant & Lodging Assistant

This major prepares students as restaurant and lodging assistants who work in entry-level food service, housekeeping, and lodging positions.  Students receive an overview of hospitality positions in the rooms and food/beverage divisions of a lodging operation and skills required for individual positions with an emphasis on professionalism as well as safety and security.  The Skills, Tasks, and Results Training (START) curriculum is an integral component of this major, and students will intern with a lodging management organization to apply and utilize skills gained.

$7.25/hour
