Nursing Prep
This major is designed as a starting point for students interested in pursuing a Practical Nurse major. In this major students will complete a nursing skills course and the first few courses of the licensed practical nurse major. At the completion of this program the student will be able to take certifications for the long term care Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and/or the acute care Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) and apply for admission to the Practical Nurse Career Major with advanced standing.
