Facial Technology (adult)    

Program Description

This program is designed to meet the high expectations of today’s industry. Facial Technology provides training in cleansing and massage, makeup application and facial treatments. Students will acquire experience through hands-on training, as well as customer work. To obtain state licensing, students must complete 600 hours of instruction and pass the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology written and practical exams. The Facial Technology classes are available Monday through Friday in 3-6 hour plans of study. An evening class is also available from 5-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Facial Technology prepares students for licensure exam for esthetician/facialist/facial operator.

FAC 1010 Science and Its Effect on Facials
FAC 1020 Facials and Make-Up
FAC 1030 Non-permanent Hair Removal
FAC 1040 Salon Development
FAC 1050 Cosmetology Law, Rules and Regulations

Salary Range
Entry Level $7.25 - $9.00/hour
With Experience $9.00 - $14.00/hour

    Prerequisites
  • Minimum of an 8th grade education and 16 years of age with documentation of student’s date of birth
  • English proficiency test for those who speak English as a second language
  • Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology registration; $5.00 fee required
