Computer Repair & Networking Technology (Adult)

Program Description

Receive hands-on training in the repair, maintenance, security, configuration and networking of computer systems, networking and computer security for a variety of industry needs. Students may prepare for the IC3, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) and/or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications depending on the program(s) taken. By taking additional elective courses, students may prepare for the CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Security+ and/or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certifications.
The program is available as a 12-month daytime program that meets Monday through Friday or as an evening program that meets Monday through Thursday, 4:00-10:00 p.m. Adults may attend half-day or full-day.

The following programs are available:

Computer Repair Technology prepares students for computer repair technician.

Networking Technology prepares students for network technician and network specialist.

InterNetworking Technology prepares students for internetworking associate.

Program Availability:

  • Day or Evening
  • Full or Part-Time
  • Classes and Enrollment are available all year (12 months).
  • Open Enrollment—As long as a seat is available you may start anytime.
  • Programs are between 5 and 8 months in length for full time students.
  • The day program meets Monday – Friday, 7:40am - 2:15pm.
  • The Evening program meets Monday – Thursday, 4:00pm – 10:00pm.

    Salary Range
    Entry Level $8.00 - $14.00
    With Experience $15.00 - $29.00/hour
