These include The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Oklahoma Firefighters Museum, National Softball Hall of Fame, the 45th. Infantry Museum, the 36-hole Lincoln Park Golf Course, and the Omniplex and Kirkpatrick Center, featuring the Air and Space Museum, National Photographers Hall of Fame and hands-on exhibits and activities for kids of all ages. Conference Center

The Metro Technology Centers Conference Center The Conference Center is a 4,620 square foot meeting facility. This room seats 550 people at it's maximum utilization, or 336 people for banquets or dinners. The facility is equipped with a complete sound system and is equipped for video, PowerPoint or slide projection and offers video conference and satellite downlink capability . Large overhead doors allow equipment or vehicles to be brought into the room. A special ventilation system is even available to vent vehicle engine fumes for static vehicle displays. The room can be used as a whole or divided as needed into four meeting areas:

Individual meeting rooms are available to accommodate up to 40 participants each. These rooms are tastefully appointed to create an environment conductive for effective meetings. Full-service audiovisual and media support is available on-site. Rooms are soundproof and offer individual climate control for maximum comfort. Classroom, conference, theater and U-shaped seating arrangements are available.

Auditorium

The Conference Center Auditorium ( Floor Plan Reference #1) is perfect for large lecture training and entertainment needs. This facility has 281 fixed seats with retractable table tops. The stage is plushly carpeted and can be configured for a number of different training or performance applications. Precise control of lighting, sound, video and slide projection make this a truly outstanding meeting facility.


The Metro Technology Springlake Amphitheater

The Springlake Amphitheater was once host to such great performers as Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman and even Elvis Presley. Today the very same Amphitheater is available for your presentations as well.

The Springlake Amphitheater has fixed seating for 400 people and a grass seating area that will easily accommodate an additional 1000 people. The Springlake Amphitheater is a perfect location for concerts, plays, and outdoor performances of all kinds.


Food Services

Excellent banquet and catering services make the Conference Center a popular choice for your next meeting or conference.

Nothing garnishes an event with expectation more than the aroma of a delicious meal. From a basic cold cut buffet to elegantly presented dinners complete with ice sculptures and dinner music, we offer a full range of banquet and catering options to fit your event and your budget.

Select from our delicious menu entrees, or request special entrees of your own. Our chefs and banquet staff have served in some of the finest restaurants and country clubs. Their specialty is to treat you with taste.

Another option is Metro Cafe located at the east end of the building ( Floor Plan Reference #12). It is open from weekdays from 6:45 to 9:00 am for breakfast and from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm for lunch and offers a variety of entrees starting at $3.25. You can view the daily menu here.

    Note:

  • Actual capacity may vary depending on spacing of tables and chairs.
  • Setup for head table on risers will reduce seating capacity.
  • Half day rates will be 1/2 the daily or weekend rates.
  • Half day is defined as 4 hrs. or less
  • Full day is defined as up to 8 hrs.
  • Additional charges will apply for more than 8 hrs.
  • For weekend events, security charges of $15 per hour will apply. We require one officer per 100 attendees. Time required to include one hour before access to the building is needed and one hour after the event is scheduled to conclude to unlock prior and secure after event.
  • For groups of 75 or more a receptionist is also required at the hourly rate of $18 per hour on Friday night or weekend events. The receptionist will arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the event and remain for 30 minutes after the event is concluded.
